Tribù Mood counter-height chairs in teak and woven Tricord around a round table in a garden

Belgian since 1966, made for the long evening outside Tribù outdoor furniture

Luxury outdoor furniture from a Belgian family house that has made Tribù furniture since 1966. Teak that greys evenly, rope woven by hand, fabrics that shed water and hold color through a Florida summer.

First collection

Praslin, 1992

Drawn with Wim Segers. It set the rule the house still follows: an outside designer draws, the workshop builds.

Materials and build

What Tribù builds

Every collection is drawn by an outside designer, then built from the four materials the house has worked with for decades.

01

Solid teak

Plantation teak, ethically harvested. Left bare it turns silver-grey; oiled twice a year it stays honey-colored.

02

Hand-woven rope

Tricord and rope weaves are worked by hand over powder-coated frames. The weave carries the load, so the seat gives under you and drains fast.

03

Weatherproof textiles

Solution-dyed acrylics and quick-dry foam. Cushions can stay outside through a season of rain and sun without blotching.

04

Powder-coated aluminum

Marine-grade aluminum for frames that live near salt water, finished in the matte shades the house has used since the nineties.

How it works

From first message to a finished Tribù terrace

Six steps, and the first two cost nothing.

  1. You send the brief

Room, climate, how many people sit down. Photos help.

  2. We answer with options

Two or three collections that fit, with lead times and trade pricing.

  3. Finishes go out

Teak, rope and fabric samples ship to you before anything is ordered.

  4. Order is placed

Production slots are confirmed with the factory in Belgium.

  5. Freight

Crated, insured, tracked to your address or to the site.

  6. Assembly

White-glove assembly on request in most US metro areas.

Samples and pricing cost nothing. An order is only placed once you approve the finishes.
